The Youth Ministry offers a variety of programs, events and activities to promote Christian living and spiritual strength for children under 19 years old. A holistic program includes youth church services every first and third Sunday; weekly Bible study for children of all ages; several age appropriate retreats; numerous sports activities; mentoring programs such as the SSEEDs Spiritual Sisters Educating Ebenezer’s Daughters (SSEEDS), Rites of Passage for young men, and tutoring for all ages in all subjects.

Two youth choirs and other planned activities ensure that there are ongoing Christian programs and events for all youth. Joy Night, a high school senior graduation banquet are annual events sponsored by the ministry to involve EBC youth and those in the community.

Youth Ministry "So Fresh...So Clean"

Working with children is one life’s greatest blessings. It is important to see young people not necessarily for what they are today but for what they could be tomorrow. Training young people is a process of time and energy. This process is often challenging but the potential product is worth more than all the riches this world could offer. The rewards are immeasurable.

We at Ebenezer Baptist Church realize the importance and value of the young people the Lord brings our way. We are not a social club, striving simply to provide activities for young people. Our main goal as a church is to build lives for the future. This requires a great deal of dedication, patience, understanding and love. It is our desire to instill in all youth a love for the Lord Jesus Christ, a yearning to know Him more closely, and a willingness to be used by Him now and in the future.

This is not to say that that we are against "having fun" and allowing young people to enjoy life. Our Youth Ministry sponsors at least 2-3 activities per month and provides exciting Bible classes on Sundays and Wednesdays. Some of our activities include: annual retreat, roller-skating, ice-skating, bowling, Step Team, team basketball, and visits to local amusement parks.
