“The Gospel of John is one of the four canonical gospels in the New Testament. It traditionally appears fourth, after the synoptic gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. No Gospel is more greatly loved than the Gospel of John. This Gospel’s profound message, beautiful imagery, and simple language have won countless hearts. The familiar words of John 3:16 are among the first to be memorized by children, and yet the implications of that statement never cease to trill even the most mature who have come to know in a personal way the Christ about whom John wrote. John begins with the witness and affirmation of John the Baptist and concludes with the death, burial, resurrection, and post-resurrection appearances of Jesus.” This bible study is designed to take us through the relations of the Father, and the Son, and the activity of the Holy Spirit, and the “abiding” of believers in Christ.”
