Worship Services

Ebenezer conducts an Early Worship Service at 7:45 a.m. and a regular worship service at 11 a.m. We aim for one and a half hours from start to finish. Youth Church is held on the first and third Sundays from 7:45-9:30 a.m.

Church school is held from 9:30 to 10:30am.

During mid-week on Wednesday, we welcome all to join us for Wednesday Noon Day Prayer beginning at 12 noon or Wednesday Night Bible Study from: 7:30 to 8:30pm. Youth Prayer/Praise and Bible Study takes place on the same evening from: 7 to 8:30pm.

All services and activities are held in the Family Life Center.

Guests

We want to recognize our guests and hope you won’t mind if we show that you are welcome at EBC!  We want you to feel like our very special guests and may ask you to stand and introduce yourself. On Sunday, upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by our Greeters Ministry and later receive a visitor’s card from our Usher Ministry. We’d like to have your contact information completed on the visitor’s card so Pastor C.A. Lundy and First Lady Jacqueline Lundy can follow up and thank you personally for deciding to join us in our worship experience.  Please tell us how you heard about our beloved Ebenezer.  Most Sundays between the 7:45 and 11 a.m. services, breakfast is served in our EBC Cafe’ and we invite you to have breakfast as first-time visiting guests -- compliments of EBC.

Music

Depending on which Sunday and which of our two services you decide to attend, the music may be traditional or contemporary but always worshipful. Whether hymns or spirituals performed by the Robert “Pop” Middleton’s Men’s Chorus, the Ethel Mae Chinn Senior Choir or the Phyllis Lee Williams Gospel Choir, a common theme of reverent exuberance resonates.  Our masterful musicians also accompany In His Image, our young adult choir that offers plenty of praise and wonderful worship through contemporary music. Our youth showcase their musical talent on the  Angelics Youth or Ebenettes choirs.  No matter who’s rendering the music, come prepared for a soul-stirring experience!

Dress

Come as you please as long as you come with a heart and mind to worship. We want you to feel at ease and be comfortable. You’ll find our dress code from Sunday best to casual.

Preaching & Teaching

Pastor Lundy’s messages are relevant and biblically based. You may leave thinking that he was speaking about me or it felt like he was talking to me.  A preacher/teacher, Pastor Lundy shares from the Word for usually 35-45 minutes. In his own words, his vision is to preach and teach the gospel in such a manner as to reach the youngest child, to draw the greatest of sinners, and to challenge the most conscientious of saints to trust and obey Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Where We Worship

We are looking forward to completing a new chapel and sanctuary in which to worship.  Currently, all services and activities are bring held temporarily in the Family Life Center. The multi-room, multi-purpose facility is conveniently located at the intersection of Telegraph and Minnieville Roads at 13020 Telegraph Road in Woodbridge. We invite you to come join our loving church family and praise the Lord with us!
